How you benefit from our inpatient outpatient physical therapy rehab

You need to see a physical therapist to rehabilitate an injury or get yourself back to speed up post-surgery and we’ve been referred – whether by ZocDoc, Google, our website, word-of-mouth, or from your own doctor. You likely have questions though… mainly, how can our inpatient or outpatient services benefit you? There are several things that you should know so that you can make an informed decision.

Our Client Base

We treat a lot of different conditions, including back pain, neck pain, and knee problems by using manual therapy. If you have pelvic pain, sports injuries, are recovering from orthopedic surgery, or have general women’s health issues, we can help. While our client base is generally females ages 25-45, don’t worry one bit if you don’t fall in that category, though…  we also help men and women of all age ranges. Our clients also come from all over New York, from Valley Stream to Manhattan. We also serve a lot of people from Brooklyn, naturally, since one of our two offices are there. We’ll treat severe pain, restricted mobility,  muscle weakness that’s caused by mechanical defects, and posture problems.

Later Hours

One of the best benefits that we offer, in both our Rosedale and Brooklyn offices, is longer business hours. We’re open from 9 am to 8 pm at Rosewood , since we know that people are busy, whether they are workers with all kinds of job hours to students who need to juggle classes with rehabilitation. This way, no one is going to feel rushed or possibly discouraged because they can’t manage to make it in for sessions. Our Brooklyn office are open even later – from 10 am to 11 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 3 pm to 11 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. With rare exceptions, everybody is going to be happy here.

One thing that we’ve noticed is that the patients say they get results when they come visit us, but then things go sideways once they have to return to work. While we do understand that there is often a limited window to accomplish our goals, especially given how insurance and play a large part in how many sessions there are, there needs to be some kind of continuation after those sessions are over. Ultimately, the best way to get the most out of your physical therapist visits is to continue to do the exercises that they tell you do do at home. It’s not like a short dose of antibiotics… this is something that you need to maintain for a long time. It might even turn into a lifelong necessity. Not doing this is going to put you right back where you started from or worse.

Our physical therapy clinics in Brooklyn and Rosedale, have caring staff whose sole goal is to help you regain the form and function that you had prior to your injury or surgery through outstanding inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services. They’ll use all kinds of methods to make sure that you reach that goal while treating you like the human being that you are and not just another checkbox to be crossed off during another work day.
